熊野古道は和歌山県と三重県にまたがる古代の巡礼路です。
熊野三山と呼ばれる三つの神聖な神社への参詣のために整備され、日本最古の歴史書である「日本書紀」にも記述がある、大変歴史の古い街道です。

Kumano Kodo has been developed for the pilgrimage to the shrine called Kumano Sanzan, and described in The Nihon Shoki, which is Japan's oldest history book.
熊野古道は紀伊山地の深い森にあり、現在はトレッキングルートとして人気があります。大半が車道と並走しているため、一部の区間のみを歩くことも可能です。道中には古い石像や祠があり、古代の自然崇拝の痕跡を垣間見ることができます。
熊野古道路线位于纪伊山脉的森林深处，现在是一个流行的徒步旅行路线。因为大部分的熊野古道一直与公路平行，它也有可能只走一些路段。沿途有一些旧祠堂和一些老的石像，你可以感受到古老的自然崇拜的痕迹。
Kumano Kodo Routes is located in the deep forest of the Kii Mountain Range, and is now a popular trekking route. Because most of the Kumano Kodo has been parallel with the roadway, it is also possible to walk some sections only. Along the way there is some old shrine and some old stone statue, and you can feel traces of the ancient nature worship.
熊野古道は「紀伊山地の霊場と参詣路」としてユネスコの世界遺産に登録されています。巡礼路が世界遺産に登録されているのは珍しいケースで、スペインのサンティアゴ・デ・コンポステーラの巡礼路と日本の熊野古道だけです。
熊野古道は大変交通の便が悪いため、レンタカーや観光バスでのアクセスをおすすめします。公共交通機関を利用する場合には和歌山県の田辺市から路線バスを利用することになります。
熊野古道注册为联合国教科文组织世界遗产。登记为世界遗产的朝圣路线，是罕见的，如在西班牙圣地亚哥德孔波斯特拉路线
因为熊野古道是不方便来访问，我们建议租车或游览车访问。如果你想使用公共交通，你应该使用从和歌山县田边在城市的公交线路。
Kumano Kodo is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Sites as Pilgrimage Routes in the Kii Mountain Range. Pilgrimage route registered as the World Heritage Sites is rare, such as Route of Santiago de Compostela in Spain
Because Kumano Kodo is inconvenient to access, we recommend to access by a rental car or tour bus. If you wish to use the public transport, you should use the bus route from the city of Tanabe in Wakayama Prefecture.
