Imai-cho is the old town in Kashihara city,Nara Prefecture. It has been designated the Important Preservation District for Groups of Historic Buildings by the Japanese government. In the 16th century ,along with Sakai in Osaka ,it have prospered as a burgh. Moreover, the entire town is surrounded by a moat,and had functioned as a fortress during the war.

Horyuji Temple is a temple in Ikaruga, Nara Prefecture. Horyuji is a UNESCO World Heritage Site as the world's oldest wooden building. Horyuji Temple was erected in 607 by Prince Shotoku. Prince Shotoku is known as a great statesman made the Constitution and bureaucratic system for the first time in Japan. In addition, the portrait of Prince Shotoku had been drawn in the bill of JPY until 1986.
